I think it'll take something pretty drastic for Cal to admit that the plan is foobared and that we should pull out ... that, or a good ol whack over the head with that sledgehammer.

Eh heh, you just made me think of the scene where the dinner horn blows and all the Eloi go quietly to their doom... the deathmetal music is the dinner horn!
BTW, the morlocks were the cannibals, the Eloi were the beautiful ones. I suspect that Cal wanted to become the eloi form, not morlock. But maybe not.

I just wanted to chase her down and catch her hehe.

Here's a question for you, adam. So cloths, like the ones Caittie and the trolls are wearing, have a self cleaning feature that would repel the water somehow. I know they talk about it in the book somewhere about how suits and some cloths have an autocleaning feature for dirt and such, but would that work for water?
And which types of cloths/armor have that feature and which ones dont?

Good question, and I have been thinking about it. As you already understand, it largely depends on the quality of the clothes. Both the trolls have expensive suits. High-end wear like that all has self-cleaning and a certain degree of water resistance (unless it is the conspicuous consumption of wearing actual natural stuff like cotton or wool - only for the rich. Obviously if it is really all natural, it will have none of those high-tech-weave features.) But for the water resist - that is for, like, light rain. That function go totally ovewhelmed for the trolls' suits tonight. On the other hand, neither of them is worried about shrink - once they dry off their suits should be good as new. Same with stains - a little blood on the sleeves will probably be fine. But a really big and heinous stain would overwhelm the self-cleaning feature.
Caittie's clothes? I assume they are basic middle-class quality, so they should at least be water resistant. If I recall correctly, she has a jacket with her - that, of course, is a functional item of clothing and as such will be fully-waterproofed. In case it comes up (like, if I see stuff happening in the cameras) I'll roll initiative too - not that there is probably much he can do from where Mr. Smith is.

Well....I got this new laptop (2gig cpu, 500mb ram) for 400$ !! at a midnight walmart special thingy. Its my first laptop. The only computer knowledge i possess is what i have learned just from using them, no special classes or anything so i can fix most things unless it requires you to know stuff lol.
I've got it all up and running i think. That stupid dsl lite modem is a pain in my ass. It saves me money but it just doesnt work well. If i switch profiles on my windows it breaks and wont connect to the internet anymore even if i switch back to the previous profile. So i have to restart the computer.
Anyways....I slapped up place holders for my posts. Now Konsaki and Jdragon can post some more without waiting on me. I dont know when i will get the chance to fill them in, im knee deep in video game heaven. FF12, Phantasy Star Universe, and Need for speed: carbon................I rent games mostly and so they have time limits and im trying to to play them all lol.
I will try to make some time to fill in my posts tonight but i cant make any promises... FF12 is soooo sweet. I want to marry the woman who did the voice over for one of the female characters because the voice is soooooo sexy.

I wrote a good 5-6 paragraph thread for my first post last night because i feel guilty putting you guys off and playing video games and when i went to submit it my stupid internet cut out and when i tried to back up a page so i could atleast copy the crap i had written it wouldnt let me and so i lost it all. Im sure you guys know how frustrating that is..

Nothing had changed from the time i started typeing to the time i tried to submit my post and it was on my new laptop and so im pretty sure these screw ups are on my providers end. unfortunately they are a bunch of idiots. I might be reverting back to dialup. I will try to see if my cable company has a similar deal like what i was getting from the phone company on broadband.
Anyways i will be getting my posts up sometime in the next few hours. I gotta train myself to write this crap out in notepad so i dont lose it if my stupid dsl cuts out.

All but one of the primates is headed straight for the door, and bypasses you. But one, the biggest bull gorilla, fixes on you from the start and charges you. He is REALLY mad - maybe it's the music, maybe it's the big steel rods jutting out of his neck, maybe he just doesn't like your looks - but he comes bounding at you with a terrific leap, howling and fists flailing.
His long arms cancel your reach.
I don't need to tell you that he's fast and looks really really strong. Big teeth, too.
As I said earlier, he doesn't reach you until your second turn, so I'm throwing out the 1st turn rolls.

Ok got my other post up. I had to lop off a good portion of it hehe.
Secretly im hoping to spill some more blood but Its like 4 AM in the morning for cerberus right? He has to be exausted lol. I was hoping maybe somebody was standing gaurd at the doors of my building and i could take them out with my throwing knives hehe. I will be really screwed if i have to get into a big fight now since my gun is burried under my clothes hehe. I guess i could reach through my laundry and fire the gun through the end of my hockey bag ruining all my clothes and my very useful hockey bag hehe.
I could kill people more easily with my fist but i am hesitant to use my fists against an armed opponent. Maybe after they have a knife or two sticking out of them their aim wont be so great hehe.

But he's in no mood to give up either. He us just gonna keep whacking at you/trying to grab you next turn.
You are indeed well out of the way of the other monkeys, who are all pretty much gone. Cal and Deerwalker busy doing something way down the length of the room, but you don't have much extra attention to pay to them. But you don't see any more animals coming your way.

Obviously, there isn't much Adam can do to stop a huge frankenstein gorilla from the ground floor, and with the music going, I can't send Cal a warning/told-you-so...
I think I would like Adam, (assuming he can see that anything is going wrong) to try to enter in some commands to cut the hacker's theme music, even if just to that room (thought cutting it completely is probably jsut as easy). Not sure how long that will take, or what sort of action it would be... and since I the VR hacker surely gets 3 IPs to my 1, he'll probably have it back on before I can fire off my next message to Cal.... but worth a shot anyways.
