Say, does anyone know, why the numerical anchors on TF´s wiki pages don´t work? I had no problems with Numbers as anchors on the old wiki, IIRC.
They look like this [[#1]] and that [[PC - Tao-Fighter - Background#1|More]].
Another thing:
I changed TF´s lifestyle to Low/shared. I´d prefer him to live with JAX in The Garage, since he´s his only real family available. If thats ok with you, ES Sparky and Vegas.

About OOC planing, I´d be in for it, shoud speed things up a bit, and it isn´t that interesting to do it IC, really IMHO.

I'm not tied to the basement. We can have it be swapped, JAX above and spare space below, but you should consider how a dead man affects a place's feng-shui (sp?) before you get too excited. JAX's dad was found in the basement.



I'll say there are two 'areas' above and two 'areas' below that can serve as residences. Both sharing bathrooms/kitchens.

Since i've had some agreements in OOC planning...
to possible build off of what Jax's plan was, maybe we could make lots of decoys, and ward every shoebox. And as a getaway plan, we run around switching our shoeboxes up so they have no clue as to which one it is, and either chase the wrong one or split themselves up...

And no offense to the thoughts of aquatic adventures, but on bikes, if we crash we can run through the streets.... diving off of boats is a whole other matter.

That's not to say the boat shouldn't be ready to move a decoy or the real deal across the river if need be.

There's a BIG difference between sharing a bathroom with a brother and a sharing a bathroom with a not-brother.

In the interests of RP, TF, you can have the whole basement. And JAX and Halo will split the place above the garage. JAX has the 'nice' part though.

I wasn´t alluding to her having problems sharing the restroom with any guy. You noticed thet TF is a guy too, right . I was pointing towards her Take about Jun (the early one at least, I don´t know if that had changed).

If theres a real ghost there (but I doubt that), thats fine, otherwise, TF will lack company. Matal isn´t all about surrounding oneself with earth (though thats probably a good place for the lodge), it´s allso about socializing, so he would only be down there, when working magic stuff anyway. The place and privacy would be wasted.

IMO the taint of what Jax's father was wouldn't go with TF at all... I mean a guy who was that much of a B (I know I'm metagaming here having read Jax's history file) would have left a bad residue.... at least from what I remember of astral signatures.

He was BAD news indeed. That would be a cool thing that I can work with with TF, if Tinkergnome doesn't mind.

EDIT: I mean, I have a backstory for dear old dad, I can feed clues/bits to TG and HE can feed them to TF if that would work better... one arbiter of reality per game and all.

TF would probably try to clean the mess up. About bad people, they are bad even if they are dead, but spirits of men tend not to harm TF, when they are not forced to. Even if they are angry ghosts, I´d think, they´d rather try to scarr him off and ignore him, when it doesn´t work. Less agressive dead are probably greatfull for someone, they can interact with, without scarring him away. The dumb-frame aparations are harmless anyway

Anyway, even if there is no Spook (and I think that would be overkill exotic), TF will probably dream about stuff, while living in the Garage, no metter, if he sleeps upstairs or down.
Dreams about dead people are the most frequent, he´s got and the lingering signature (even if it´s not a fullblown background count, though I wouldn´t mind that either) will probably filter into his subconcious over time.
That´s a more subtile aproach, I would prefer. Someday, there may even show up a spactor, but that should be some time until then, building a dramatic arc.

Still TF would hang out upstairs almost all the time. Also, he will try to compensate for his leaching of space/amanities/security, by cleaning up, kataloging parts (even without the spell), etc..

Makes for somuch more RP! I love flashing out this stuff, sadly, most of my RL players don´t do so much of this stuff. They won´t even know, which cigarettes thair characters smoke (TF smoces anything, he´s a leecher ).

It's simple.

Ground floor: Garage, office (if there is one)
Up one flight of stairs: A seedy one-and-a-half bedroom apartment.
Down one flight of stairs: A seedy basement with minimal plumbing and room for a lodge and a living space to be divided at MK sees fit. If there is a washer/dryer here, it's in the basement.

There's some good RP.

Maybe switch Electrode and Auran with Bronze and Nurse (the two of them should stay together). Neo´s combat powness will balance Tao´s comparatively week magic (and the damage he´s carrying around).

IC, Tao would probably want them (decoys + real box) to be either 3 or 9 (maybe 8, but thats not so good) as everything in betweem would be unlucky numbers.

JJ lives at the garage as well. He sleeps on whoever has the most comfortable couch. If anyone has a couch. If not...he'll have some sort of matress he drags out with his big bad squatter lifestyle.

If you have to give him a room, he'll take it, but I would prefer that he be a complete lush.

Wait, though. Who says, they all have to look the same? We could even put numbers on them, though less obvious markings will do. Though if these markings are to obvious the swaping on the fly option wouldn´t work that good anymore.

I seem to recall that the original box was beaten up and covered in tape. If we colour tag one box from another, then we can tell the real McCoy from the others.

Don't know if anyone read my full background and such, but I put it in my Residence tab that the McGees have a spare room. As long as you don't steal from the family and clean up your mess, you have a room to stay in.

Speaking of other people's stuff....does anyone care if JJ keeps the Predetor from the ork gangers?

His best weapon right now is just a light pistol and he only has like a clip and a half left for it.

I´d not feel that comfortable, using a looted gun, as one never knows, how dirty it is. I´d rather sell it. However after voicing this concern, TF wouldn´t object vehemently to anyone using looted stuff, until it is sold off.

TF will take Nurse to the backroom, ASAP, to speak to her in private. She can use medic on him then. Though he´d prefer, to talk to her alone, he would agree to take along Bronze and to a lesser degree, Felix, but nobody else.

If TF goes to the backroom with Nurse, he will insist, that she does not give Nurse access to the feed from the main room, until after he has talked to her, however, he will record it for her, if she wants to take a look later.

Two teams, make sure the real McCoy has at least one or two powerhouses on its guard duty and dump the rest of the team to babysit the dud. Repackage them so they look identical, RFID Tag them some code words the gang agree on to keep them seperated... Like have the girls code name them brands of shoes. "Jimmy Cho's" for the legit piece, "Nine West" for the crap... or something updated for 2070

Glue the lids shut "descreetly" wrap both in "protective plastic" on the outside and have the girls transport them. They get screwed with, they just went "shopping" for shoes

If the drek hits, we fight and there are more of us. Perhaps our superior numbers gives us the win.

If it is obvious we aren't going to win, JJ, CD, Halo, and Raven all take off on bikes and split up. We could be carrying a passenger each as well. One of these units would have the package.

If we had to do the split, the hackers in the groups would do a coordinated attack on our assailants to stop them from pursuing...or at least to slow them down.

So we have:

-Split in two teams
-Split in three teams
-All bundle up in the same location (HQ)
-Split in two teams were one goes on the boat and the other stays in at the HQ
