JJ let a few people know and will let the rest now when he returns to the HQ.
I would imagine that everyone assumes the Star talked to every shop owner in the vicinity of the SS as well as a local hangout like the Zo e.
But, I'll mention it to them. JJ doesn't see it as something that needs immediate broadcasting.

Sure, you can never be, that was just what I would assume. TG has to make the call obviously. But by listing the possible modifires and rolling with then assuming the best, you can just speed things up. TG can allways ignore the last x results, thats the beauty of a dice roller

Not to me. I think it was just a random person.
Or she's just someone in the neighborhood. Y'know someone we'd "know of" but not necessarily *know* like a contact or anything. I mean with as small as the turf is and with how many of us grew up around there, I'd assume we'd know a LOT of the people who belong there and those that don't.

The discussion tab on the Wiki is too clunky for speedy stuff not to mention not friendly to multiple people trying to edit it at the same time, and PM's are slow and take up so much "space".
IRC makes sense, if the servers weren't all FUBAR'ed and if people actually used them

I think you have overspent 20 bp! I counted 330 (-10 for Sensitive System). So you should get enother 20 bp worth of negative Qualities or cut the character some..

I've entered your info into Goliath's character sheet at the wiki site. You were spending 40 points separately on the 3 skills of the Cracking Group, and getting the Cracking group is a better use of points so I put them together into Cracking 4.
By my calculations you're 20 bp over. Someone check my math, please.

Signal (How good your connection is) and Response (how good the processor is - thus is affected by amount of programs running at once). you also have to buy an operating system for it(OS) which have firewall (duh!) and System (max rating of your programs) ratings in them. So buy 1 commlink, and buy 1 OS for it, and that is you.

common use programs = (not sure, but analyze, browse, command, edit and others)
Always available
prices = for rating 1-3 = rating *50
for rating 4-6 (though currently max rating is 4) = rating *100
hacking programs = (attacks, black stuff, and exploit, etc)
Availability = Rating *2 (so your current max rating 3.... since max avail is 6)
prices = for rating 1-3 = rating *500
Finally Agents (Jones....)
Availabilty = Rating *3 (so current max is rating 2)

I thought BP's for cash/gear was @ 2,500/BP house rule? Am I wrong? Because if so, I wanna fix Halo's CS
The Old Wiki China Doll character sheet here has an example of a commlink and programs. Probably close to what you will want, thought your programs will focus on hacking and combat rather then commanding drones.

So, when buying up ratings... if you want a level 3 program you have to pay for levels 1, 2 AND 3, right?
No, you just buy the program at level 3. Otherwise you have 2 redundant programs and 10 times the cost.
So, just to make sure that I understand t3h battle plan...

We are going to produce another decoy, so 2 de, 1 real.

Well, the strategy dosen't matter too much to me in the end, but for a poorly armed gang isn't hunkering down a bad idea? OPFOR can just hammer the hideout with artillery and crap and keep it surrounded. If there's a seige the poorly armed gang loses.
Instead if we scatter and run around like chickens with our heads cut off it's harder to bring concentrated firepower to bear and there's a higher probability of the box simply not being found by OPFOR.
Meh, whatever. In character I'm not sure how my character would think because she's not very strategic in the first place.

I have a bit of a hard time planing without doing in-person discussion and having some maps

And, so as far as the box goes. We don't know who knows (if anyone) besides the A's that we even have the damn thing.. so it's just as likely that the majority of the 3 days might coast by, on the other hand... Double crosses and all kinds of "fun" stuff are possible.

Well, the stuff I said is more strateic rather than tactical. What I mean is that it's not on the level of detail where we'd have to look at maps because I'm not talking about specific manuvers yet.
It's just that it seems to me that a raggedy bunch of teenagers who hunker down in a makeshift hideout is probably going to lose if OPFOR simply lays seige. If we're in a building, but the building gets surrounded and someone starts dumping mortar rounds onto that building, we're basically screwed.
On the other hand, if three groups of raggedy teenagers run screaming randomly around the city anyone would have a hard time following them all.
See, there are just general statements of principle, so they don't involve maps just yet.
EDIT: Heh, not sure I can bring this up IC because Toy might not be smart enough to articulate this through language barriers and all. She's definitely more of a follower than a leader.

Keep in mind, we're all 14-19 year old Street kids not hardened Shadowrunners, or ex-millitary. Not saying we don't have strategy or we're all stupid, but we also haven't been in a gang together for what, more than a month or 2 tops?
