tisoz

I dunno if your long answer isn't any longer than the short answer, unless you are claiming to have a tongue like a snake.

See how the heretic mocks you, blatantly flaunting the lies that roll off his forked tongue.

On second thought, we could just drop fist and tisoz, and the last to hit the ground properly would be the heretic. biggrin.gif

Any seconds to the motion?

Ooooo give them the drop test. Good idea. I'll second it. wobble.gif

DocMortand:

Define "...hit the ground properly...".

That is, head-first (LAWN DART!), feet-first (standing up), or in some other fashion.

Otherwise, I'd suggest making the winner "...the one who hits the ground and lives to tell about it...", or "... the one who hits the ground and survives with the least number of injuries...", or something of the sort.

Just putting in my nuyen.gif 0.02, mind you.

As always, YMMV.

Wouldn't the winner be the one who didn't hit the ground at all but instead landed on some innocent bystander and sucked the life out of them?
Magus
So whom shall I smite first? This humble servant is now very confused.

That's more the style I had in mind.

Okay, here we go!

*picks up fistandantilus3.0 and tisoz, carries them to the top of the Sears Tower, and flings them both bodily off into space and watches them fall.*

Okay you two - how you land is important....
PBTHHHHT
*Right before the release of the two from the tower, dozens of buses pull up near the Sears Tower and a number of people are unloaded who mill about aimlessly on the sidewalks and streets around the tower. A drop bear operative is there yelling on his megaphone that the free beer will be given out shortly and to be patient.*

There, tisoz and fistandantilus3.0 can't complain that there isn't enough targets for them to hit...
DocMortand
Bah, where's the fun in that? Part of the challenge is to see if they managed to find something to hit...

*quickly shoos away the random pedestrians into the local park, where they are pounced on by a lurking legion of drop bears*
30+coyote
Can I get the stats on these bundles of joy please? wink.gif I have a few players I would like to introduce them too.
Quix
Could the loser of this tisoz and fist free fall be the one that was thrown at the ground and missed? grinbig.gif grinbig.gif
Kremlin KOA
whichever one lives is the heretic as he is using dark powers gained from a deal with the Anti-Bear
nezumi
Not the anti-bear!! I've heard about these secret, anti-bear ceremonies where they jump UP from the ground and don't come back down, and where they eat the holy leaf drenched in WINE! Oh, the heresy.
PBTHHHHT
But they burn oh so prettily... *readies his flamethrower*

How long does it take for a suspected heretic to hit the ground? They must be going through some Dread Drop Bear of Death ariel maneuvers on the way down. Send video, it's a little hard to see from here.
Magus
Hey Socks,
If we take two heretics of different masses and drop them from the same height which would hit first?
And would they bounce?

Heretic #1 75Kg
Heretic #2 55Kg
stevebugge
Depends on their relative shapes and surface area as well as mass.

Though ultimately it is their faith that will determine their fate.

Heretic #1  75Kg

The heretic #1 would hit first as that one is farther away from the weight of a drop bear, and therefore has less experience at short flight target acquisition. Unless heretic #1 got that way from drinking Drop Beer, but then they wouldn’t be a heretic.

Heretics bounce. True Drop Bear members never hit the ground. They kill crush maim and destroy their victim then climb the tree again to wait for another.
Magus
So of the two suspected heretics who will climb back up?
fistandantilus4.0
*channels spirit of the Drop Bear on the way down*

"Drop-shaman awaaaaaaaaaYYYYYYYYY"

*aims claws down and hopes to feed off of whatever breaks my fall*
BookWyrm
I still want a Killer Rabbit totem and shaman.

Why don't we just include The Black Beast of AAAaaargh... while we're at it....

Oooh, how about a Tim archetype!

Well in my eyes this clears Fisty on the charges of being a heretic. A true believer will always channel the spririt of the indomitable Drop Bear spirit guide.
Ophis
Wow it's been awhile since we've had a Python reference...

I wasn't expecting that...
Magus
NOBODY EXPECTS THE DROP BEAR INQUISTION!! that is our primary weapon that and fear....Fear and Surpise are our two weapons Fear Surprise and Drop Beer...... Fear, Surprise, and Drop Beer are amoung our fiercest weapons.........
tisoz
*Wishes he were a shaman and capable of initiating and picking up channeling. Does next best thing and hooks claws into fistandantilus3.0 back and wraps legs around him. Then aims he and fistandantilus3.0 at Kremlin KOA*
Grinder
Such a maneuver could only be undertaken by a heretic. tisoz failed the test!
DocMortand
By the way, that Monty Python reference is, if I recall correctly from the 17 times I've read through the bloody thread, the third such time that schtick has been used. Congrats!

And yeah, tisoz is failing at the moment. Of course, they haven't LANDED yet. We'll see what happens when they land...that is a true test.
fistandantilus4.0
first... we fall... then.. we eat. Any questions?

I thought it was "The legendary Black Beast of AAAaaargh..."?

(Emphasis mine.)

Of course, I've only seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail once, so I'm probably mistaken....

No, you're right, it is legendary. I was considering The Black Beast of AAAaaargh... as a mythic totem anyway so it all fits in fine.
DocMortand

Yeah. What are you going to do about tisoz's claws in your back?
fistandantilus4.0
ask him to scratch lower and to the left while he's back there.
BookWyrm
Why not? The Black Beast of Aaaaarrrgggghhhhh can be the perfect counter-totem to the Beast of Caer-Bannog.

And there's NOTHING wrong with referencing Monty Python. Be thankful I didn't start with references to The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
(waits for the inevitable)

Damnit Janet
Ophis
Do we have to shout ASSHOLE!!! after each of fistandantilus' posts now he has taken on the brad role?
fistandantilus4.0
role? think of it more as a cameo biggrin.gif
Ophis
ASSHOLE!!!

Just in case. Maybe I'll just leave it as that this once...
Magus
If Fistandntilus3.0 is Brad, does that make Tisoz, the Sweet Transvestite from Transexual Transilvania? devil.gif
Ophis
No lets make him Eddie.
Grinder could be Frankenfurter...
I'll be Riff Raff
just need to find Janet, Magenta, and Columbia...

hmm drop bear variant time warp...

It's just a drop on their head,
then a bite to the neheheheheck
With your claws in their ears
and gouge their eyes rightout
but its the eucalytus smell
that really drives them Insa-a-a-ane
lets do the drop bear again!!!

hmm I have the swing combos next hit here...
Magus
YAh!! I get to be Rocky!!
BookWyrm
(applauds everyone)

Another successful thread hi-jacking.vegm.gif

.......and THAT'S what you get for dissing the rabbit, baby!
Magus
So who hits the ground first? Fisty or Tisoz?
DocMortand
Fist lands first because tisoz has sunk his claws into fist's back.

Therefore Fist is a true drop bear elder (by hitting first while in shamanic haze) and tisoz is a heretic because he attacked a contestant during Trial. grinbig.gif
Grinder
Now that everything is clear, send over the inquisition forces to capture tisoz - and the rest of us should drink some Drop Beer and continue to spread Drop Bears over the world!
Oracle
Free Drop Beer and Eucalyptus Sweets for all. Celebrate brethren!!! And sisters. Possibly...
tisoz
I do what any well trained drop bear would do and aim for the nearest target, succeed in the attack, and still fail the test? The test must have been conducted by heretics!
Grinder
Hmm... maybe none of you is a heretic?
Oracle
Let's blame...hm...Canada?
Grinder
France!
