Zero Punctuation's review of People Can Fly's "Painkiller". Bulletstorm, which isn't nearly as good, has tits on fire, BTW.

Oh yes. I remember now.

Nobody wants that.

What? Tits on fire or not nearly a good game as Painkiller?

Tits on fire. Doubleplus ungood.

That's a pretty specific type of stroke.

This is the Internet. There are probably groups of people that have their own Image Board for just such a thing.

Why not, they have gays in their pirate space marines who ate all the pies. nyahnyah.gif

I don't think I'll be playing this bulletstorm.

Hm. Kinda nice, but a bit flat for my tastes...

And am I the only one who gets naughty perverted fun images when "squick" is brought up? I keep reading it as an onomatopoeia.

See, it's hard, isn't it?
When rule 34 failed us, we dropped back to rule 35, and were still stumped.

3109a: A Ninja Doctor Magician on a Spirit that takes the form of a Unicorn and a Kawasaki Ninja is vetoed as well.

The second part of that sounds like the Elvensteeds from Mercedes Lackey's Bedlams Bard and SERRAted Edge series', but danged if I recognize the first part.
Stahlseele
No, still Dr.McNinja
Raven the Trickster
Kinda guessed that was likely it, but the spirit hadn't showed up to the point where I stopped reading Dr. McNinja. Also, the elvensteeds date back *way* before the start of Dr. McNinja (Late 80's, or early 90's, can't recall which), so may have been the original inspiration for that spirit.

I so want more of that series!

Likewise, unfortunately there isn't even one on her upcoming book list at the moment frown.gif That said, I have been enjoying the Secret World Chronicle podcasts that she's involved in. She seems to be finally back on track with her publishing schedule again though between last year and this year, so maybe we'll see some new Bedlams Bard stuff soon too.

My group didn't have a signal jammer on them to block the "I'M BEING STOLEN" tag on a cow they just stole.

One of the members quickly got one at a black market shop, but cheaped out and didn't get the manual.

A cow? Are you sure it wasn't a goat?
Or maybe an electric sheep ^_^
Xahn Borealis
Don't androids dream of them?
CanRay
No, it was a cow. I teased the whole forum with people guessing what was so special about a cow. nyahnyah.gif

Fabricow?

Wow, you got closer than most. Fabricating what, per say?

BTW: The cow was owned by one of the Mafia families in Seattle.
Xahn Borealis
And the bees are also ninjas. With tiny little masks and everything.

Novacoke? Tbh, I can't think of many other reasons a cow would be worth extracting, unless it was concealing some other items, or maybe held some cure for the pryon that causes hellcows.

Son of a Slitch! Congratulations! I had everyone else on here jumping for a week or so, IIRC. And you just nail it.

It was a Novacoke processing cow. Feed it the raw ingredients, and milk out the Novacoke. Unfortunately, said cow was constantly "High on it's own supply", which was the wrinkle they were trying to get out. Needless to say, a coked out cow freaking about being lifted magically over a wall and into a box trailer did not go well for the group.

Honestly, all I did was think up the bloody cow for that one game, and the group did the rest. Best enjoyment I had for minimum planning! rotfl.gif

"I swear, I could send you guys to go get a can of Campbells Soup and you'd entertain me for the whole night." "Shut up."
Xahn Borealis
I think you've mentioned your cokecow before. Remember the cow jokes?

PLEASE DON'T START THOSE AGAIN. Otherwise I will be mooving on.

I don't remember the cow, but I remember the jokes. I think they spilled over into another thread. A coked-out cow sounds interesting. I wonder what its life expectancy was - being constantly high on super-coke sounds hazardous.
