Honestly, I was never much of a follower. Watched some as a kid (mostly Beast Wars), but it occurred to my young mind that rooting for the "bad guys" was actually a viable thing. They won on occasion. I never kept track, but I'd bet it was about 50-50. One episode one side would win, the next episode the other guys would win.
