I sense an interesting story behind this one. Care to share...?
Just an idea I had for a game I might run, if the opportunity presents itself. High-risk extraction of clients, runs to hack corporate data and find evidence as "Discovery," depositions (much more thrilling when the councellors have wired reflexes and cyber-spurs in addition to their rapier wit), that sort of thing.

I figure quad 'mechs are better than upright ones for that anyway. More stability, lower profile, basically a tank on legs.

Also, I don't think there are rules for vehicles going hull down yet. Or for that matter, for making taller vehicles more easily shot than low-slung ones.

'39 and '41 is just incentive not to kill you. If killing you costs them a satellite or their lives, it's often cheaper to leave you alive

Considering those assholes tried to kill me already that night I wasn't going to risk my life any further just to possibly save the life of the guy I threw out the window (he was still attached to a rappel harness), then shot his rappel line, then shot his hand to cause him to fall.
