Your pages have more posts. The default setting (by which thread length is measured) is 100 pages. wink.gif

Yeah, probably... 25 Posts/Page. smile.gif

4135b: Redneck shamans, however, are just fine.
4135c: However, the GM will not, under any circumstances, allow you to homebrew a "large mouth bass" totem, so stop asking.
4135d: Seriously. Stop Asking.
4135e: Right now. I mean it.
4135f: Okay, fine. Rocks Fall. Everyone Dies. Are you happy? Because you just ruined the game for everyone. Do you feel satisfied with yourself? No? Good.

Large Mouth Bass Totem? Gotta Git me one o' those...

Great, now I have to make Moose and Beaver Totems for Canadians... nyahnyah.gif

EDIT: There's a Nene totem as well, which means there should be a Canada Goose totem as well. Those buggers are *MEAN*!

Now I'm just imaging Possum Lodge with Red Green. "Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati"

Can I assume you've already made a dropbear totem? Or should I raise that number to 5?

I still have a Toxic Drug Totem to make... I don't need to add onto the Toxics!

"Hi I'm here for the Beaver totem...oh. It wasn't what I thought it was."

We Texans get a Jackalope totem. Yay. Jackalope!
CanRay
4137: No, the Beaver Totem is not to make Pornomancers even more powerful.
4137a: OK, well, maybe... The spirits do appreciate a good joke. Alligator Shamans are in sewers after all. And Crow apparently loves Casinos...
Christian Lafay
4138: No, you can't organize go-gang.
4138a: Or any type of gang.
4138b: Or convince the party to wipe out competing gangs.
4138c: Yes, trying to clean up The Barrens is nice but stop it, please.
4138d: Please, stop trying to buy Anti-Rad nanites in bulk for a discount.
CanRay
4139: Bribing the Halloweeners to attack a police car is easy and cheap. Bribing them to do it with no geeking, OTOH, has been vetoed, as it's not going to happen.
Rubic
4140. Any attempt to coerce a fellow player to base their character on anything read in an adult story/fanfic will result in immediate termination.
4140a. This applies also to the offender's character.

How about Moose and Squirrel totems? So we Commie Spy shamans can kidnap them?

4141- In the event some one does create Moose and Squirrel totems, the Commie Spy totem is only allowed if you are playing 1st ed. rules (They are the closest to the Cold War era after all).

4141b: Or the new house-ruled negative quality Necrophilia: Dead Communists, but that carries a whole different meaning.
CanRay
4141c: Even with the free love of the Sixth World, Necrophilia will still squick out most people.
Rubic
Necrophilia: Lay back and crack open a cold one!

"There's no pain and there's no pressure
no humiliation
there's no fear and there's no shame
there's no pulse now is it so strange?

dead girls like me
can't you see?

can't you see?
only dead girls don't walk away from me

Reminds me of a friend's Mage character. He was a necromancer, but played it off...a little too strongly. The rest of the party went to great lengths to keep dead bodies from him (to the point of burying them one place, then coming back in the middle of the night to rebury them somewhere else).
Tyro
4142: Playing a character with the Horned One totem does not give me carte blanche to squick the other players.

And I enjoy the challenge of PC`s trying to find something on their own. I had one PC hunt for a cat as a pet, accidentally kill a gabriel hound, and call another PC to help collect the body so he could collect the bounty. It was all good fun. But, you should keep a tight leash on over the top things.

I just like wiping out gangs, knocking over criminal transports, and the like.
HunterHerne
Ha. Well, in my games, you could try that, and I would welcome the challenge. But you wouldn't really be doing it alone, and criminal transports don't usually have a set schedule, in most places. Just a time of pick-up, and a time of delivery, requested as needed. Unless the people overseeing the operation have a real need for constant deliveries. But then, it'd have a little protection, too.

4144a: If I'm Stoned and Shadowrun, don't be surprised if the Neo-@ Police give me a ticket.
4144b: I'm pretty much required by "Rule Of Cool" to be constantly stoned (drunk) if I'm playing a character based off of Sir John A. MacDonald.
The Jopp
4155: Not allowed to start the Ghoul apocalypse by taking cheap drones with watercannons filled with pureed ghouls and DMSO.

4155b: Especially not if I'm an AI with relocation plans to a drone and hide offline for a year.

How do you find time to play Shadowrun?

4144b-II: I can't be dead for a year for tax purposes either.

I have to. It's a teaching aid. The same reason they don't let inmates play DnD. "It promotes a gang like unity as well as instructional methods on escaping incarceration".

Raiki
4146: I will stop trying to speak in troll ebonics.
4146a:Also, the next time any one of my characters starts a sentence with "A real trog would..." or says "Trog Life!" while making strange hand signals he will suffer an acute case of Sudden Onset Lead Poisoning.
4147: My hacker is no longer allowed to say "You can't stop the signal" unless he wants to be killed. Killed with a sword. We don't care how weird that is.

Christian Lafay
4148:Freeze Foam grenades aren't the answer to everything.
4149: Day Job can not be "Bouncer at the local Stuffer Shack"
4150: No more characters based off of the Midnight Bomber What Bombs At Midnight
4150a: Or anyone else from The Tick.
4151: Yes this is a Doc Wagon game. No you are not the night surgeon or the legal assassin.
Stahlseele
4152: I am NOT allowed to use Music by Falco to either base characters on, nor to have them describe what i intent to have the character doing . . Nor can the Character play that music loud while doing what he does best and expect to not be shot . . repeatedly . .
CanRay
4152a: I cannot make Major Tom, in any of his incarnations. He's too much of a junkie to be a good Shadowrunner.
4152b: Nor base a Mr. Crowley character off of the Blizzard of Ozz song.
4152c: A wheelman with a "Highway Star", however, might be allowed with the proper bribes to a GM.
4152d: Shadowrun isn't quite dystopian enough for Red Barchetta, however. Yet at least.

CanRay
4155: No, I am not "The Anti-Christ or The Iron Man", nor can I base a character off of Ozzy and everything he's survived.
4155a: If I want to, I can have a character exiled from Texas for urinating on the Alamo however, but expect massive repercussions for that.
4156: I am no longer allowed to base Spirits of Man off of Alice Cooper, I scare my group too much with them.

Did that movie really have this big of a cultural impact?
Also, I never caught the reference to Al and Moe's Bargain Basement, across the street.

It's Tim Burton and Phil Hartman, two great tastes that taste weird together.
I don't know the reference either. Al is Pee Wee's real name.

Speaking of the Alamo, did you know it was almost torn down back at the turn of the century?
There is also a Ripley's Haunted Adventure on the spot where Davey Crockett died.

From the original shadowtech, IIRC Mutated/genetically enhanced for lethlity Anthrax with radioactive properties.

HI NSA! This is just a game. grinbig.gif

4158b: Nor should on use a suitcase nuke a close quarters weapon.
4158b1:Use of said nuke or doom to hold the city hostage is perfectly acceptable. However, the PC's noteriaty will be up there with Kane and the Gingerbread Man.

If it is improvised, it wasn't given to them. They made it in front of you and you didn't notice. For shame, haha.
