The bar has lots of bottles, but liquor is served in plastic cups. There are chairs here and there, and on the stage is an assortment of "torture implements." 7 hits to fit in. ADAMU - Cool. As usual all are without modifires - that´s your job to apply. Unlike almost all the time, I´ll not be recording trideo (but still recording audio AND Simsense - he just said cameras, right?) at the moment (stoping to do so, once Ernst mentions it), unless anything noteworthy happens - just in case they have some wired spell to find out or somehow hacked my system. I´d guess this is more about obvious recording and publicising tapes anyway, which would make some patrons feel uneasy, after all, you probably can´t effectively controll cybercams or even vidcam-contact-lenses. I noticed that Carla's timestamp is getting a bit ahead of the timestamp inside the club. I'm afraid we're going to run into a situation where Carla's at 22:05 and hasn't received any messages yet, but then one of the elves in the club decides to send her a message at 22:02.
Is there anything you want me to do to avoid this? I suppose we can shorten the intervals between posts in the flophouse to slow down time progression.

The latter may constitute a remote service - sorry - I don't have my book with me, but you can check it. It is riskier, may be more or may be less thorough depending on circumstances, but it will certainly be a LOT quicker than an extended test with 10-minute intervals.
Edit - it would NOT be a remote service to have the spirit "manually" search the place.
If you want to use the Search power - I still have the PM you sent me with all the rolls. OR you can roll fresh and I will throw those old ones away. Up to you.

In such a case, you might just want to go into "hang out and blend in" mode for the next 15 or 20 minutes (at least after you scope the place out more thoroughly).

Trying to push things forward in time without just handwaving it as I'd like to have Etain/Conall try to get something useful out of the time. My intention is to have her both drop hints about looking for Cat and seeing if the bartender knows anything they're willing to share/sell to them as far as information goes. Then on top of that flash enough "cash" that she'd catch their eye as a potential "high roller/VIP" type

Okay, you remember Esmeralda in a lot of detail. How well you communicate that memory to someone verbally will depend largely on how well you do it in your next IC post. Or you can make an Artisan + Charisma or a Leadership + Charisma test. Or detailed IC PLUS a test for best results.
Cooking up an IC and some rolls, but it will take me some more time (sinceI don´t have verymuch of that in general at the moment :-/).
However, in case you beat me with an OOC reply.. I´ll be watching the entrances to the VIP-Area for a few minutes, to get an impression how other people get in there (also using sniffer to check if they use some wifi stuff). I.e. do they just walk through and are admitted, because they are known or do they talk to the guards, flash some kind of ticket or invitation or just cred, do the pople that get in there have any similarities (something like a secret club-membership ring)? I´m also trying to judge which of the guards has the most affection for (or is the least biased against) males/elfs/suits, to guess with whome I´d have the best chances with. I´m also trying to keep an eye on people who come out of the VIP-Area, so I might be abled to get back in in their company (either sleazing my way in whith a dom or intimidating a sub into taking me along to their dom). This can take some minutes (depending on how many people are coming and going to & from the VIP-Area, that would make me on pare with the twins around 22:06:00 or would take long enough for the fast forward you wanted to do, even before I actually approach the VIP-Area). Buying hits for decryption (a matter of combat turns).

In the six minutes or so that you watch, only two parties try to get through. One man in leather biker gear leads someone completely covered in black latex (think Pulp Fiction) in on a chain leash. They just walk in and Ernst opens up without a word.
Another group, three laughing people in goth-wear come out of the dance area and two prod the other to approach Ernst. Ernst just looks down at the guy and says "Thousand nuyen each," at which the guy looks shocked and retreats back to the dance floor with his friends.
No one comes out in the time you watch.
Your sound filters, however, pick up all manner of screams and sobs from the other side of the gate.

As for looking for an unattached sub, I made an etiquette test for you and you got more than enough successes to know that that will be very hard to find, but much easier would be to find a top that gets off on "trading" or "loaning out" his sub. That, you realize, is what you should be looking for. You also know, though, that even in a place like this, such negotiations generally take more than a few minutes of small talk and posturing. But you did get a lot of successes. You can see a couple of men with multiple people (both genders) that seem to be subs, and you are pretty sure the "harem" types are most likely to get off on "sharing."
So use Violet, or start chatting up one of these guys, if finding a sub is your goal.

1. Dealing with a shedim - I already gave you this in an earlier post - your search entitles you to know all the FLUFF material in the books. You also, as I mentioned, run across many conspiracy theories about various public figures being Shedim, and even about a super-powerful class of Shedim - not the master shedim in the books, but something more powerful still. And then there are lots of rumors about corporate research into ways to kill or otherwise affect them, but no substantive information along those lines is extant on any publicly accessible site.
2. Morning Star - you already have everything in the DITG write-up. You also can get a comm number that she supposedly uses for biz with outsiders.
3. 162 merc ops - everything on the Matrix is what you have from the wiki - specifically, the fact that merc ops are just a dream of Morning Star's, but no one knows of there ever having been one actually pulled off. People doubt it could be effective because of the ghouls' lack of discipline. Others would be afraid of turning from employer into food. But all agree they would be a scary force if they could be controlled.

In any case, she is doing her best to go along with whatever you are up to, but is confused - she still assumes you are here for the same reasons everyone else is, so some of your behavior is inscrutable to her, and she doesn't know exactly what you want.
She is appreciative but surprised at your very polite and deferential treatment of her. You've paid your money, and that entitles you to her sexual services. And she obviously knows what kind of sexual services this place means.

Door has a maglock which, according to the ARO, you can secure from the inside, though it will automatically unlock when your paid time is up. The ARO includes a countdown of remaining time and is ready to receive more cred to extend your stay. You have just under two hours remaining right now.
The window opens enough to get in or out. There is no fire escape of any kind, but it is only the second floor, the drop is only about 4 meters, or just over 2 meters if you hang from the sill before dropping.
No other exits or anything suspicious in the room.

Looking for the 1stTimer´s friends´ nodes should be a matter of seconds if they are active or passive - in case of a hidden node, I made a roll and scored 4 hits, which means, I should find it anyway.
Of course I´d need something to ID the correct PANs. If Violet can´t provide any names, I´d be looking for pictures or other recognizable features (gender, race, age, ethnicity, tatoos, logos, anything), looking for similarities in style between person and PAN if all else fails.
While I´m at it, there is another Perception Test with 7 hits to scrutinize the gir´s tormenters and a Judge Intentions Roll with 6 hits to make sure that she really wants them to stop and isn´t just putting up a good show.
Only 2 hits for shadowing to not stare at them too obviously, but they are probably too distracted to notice me in the crowd and even if they do, they are in this place, because they like beeing watched.

Can you give me a quick rundown on how many rapists are there are and their metatype, built, clothing and stuff I can see
1) Shirtless, hairy dwarf wearing tight jeans. He likes to bite.
2) Ork in the same sort of black leather gear most people in this place like.
3) The meanest is actually a beautiful human woman wearing nothing but thigh-highs and a strap-on dildo. She is furiously yelling obscenities at the victim and hitting her in a weak, slappy way as the others rip her clothes off.
4) A human wearing boxer shorts. He doesn't really look like he is a regular, and his is the only PAN not broadcasting "I like rape" stuff (though you can still find it). He seems to be having fun and often looks at the man standing off to the side. He and the man off to the side both scream mid-level corp, just like the 1st timer.
Note that although they are not wearing many clothes, # 1-3 still have their PAN AROs near them - either they are carrying some very small commlinks, or they have tech so that even if the comm is not on them, it tracks them and keeps their AROs on their persons.
# 4 and the guy off to the side both have headware comms.
You can make up further identifying features for these people if you want.
