Aside from a bunch of personal crap, it is essentially a bunch of info on various snuff porn activities - transcripts from underground chat boards on snuff film aesthetics and production, marketing channels (useful if you chose to sell the raw footage you found), ways to beat law enforcement of illegal media content, and so on.
In game terms, reading it and making a summary would raise the rating of the Underground Sex Trade reference you recently got by one level. The paydata itself is probably worth a base Y5,000 to the right buyer, or maybe a substantial favor from an interested law enforcement person.
Again, the footage is probably worth another Y5,000 - if you choose to involve yourself in disseminating that sort of thing.

In any case, while at first glance it appears that the game has stalled because you have not posted a response, that would actually be a misinterpretation.

And I want to say the next bit very carefully, because the last thing I want to do is push anyone to do anything they feel would be out of character for their, uh, character, or pressure anyone into playing in a style that is not their preference. The ultimate name of the game is freedom of choice, and I have no interest in quashing that in any way.
That said, in the interest of making sure everyone has the maximum possible amount of fun and enjoyment, which is our goal, I would point out that all three of the other players in this thread are perfectly capable of being as active as they choose to be.
Obviously Mister Juan can chime in any time at the tattoo parlor.
But not only that - MK and BR can be as proactive as they want to be - either by engaging in their own pursuits, or by linking up with the main action - the twins are a phone call and a cab away.

Of course I know everyone already knows this - but just on the off chance that there was anyone holding back from posting just because they didn't think they were "up to bat," I just want everyone to know that posting is wide open for all players at this point in the game.

The negotiation would have been brief and to the point - you have the sense that it was cheaper for him to pay the extra Y120 than spend an extra thirty seconds negotiating you down.

Your IC post indicated you may wish to hook up with either Carla or the twins. I am cool with both - you are a couple hours ahead of both, but if you let me know which you want to hook up with, it is easy enough to manipulate time into passing quickly once the current encounters are over - probably soon with BR - no telling how long the tattoo parlor will take, since neither Vegas or MJ appear to be in a position to post at this time...hopefully that will change soon!

I won't roll intimidation because, well, Conall isn't really trying to scare Ricky. He's telling him the facts, straight out.

What's your stance on using doing called shots with spells?
Main issue here is that if Death Touch only does "generalized" damage to the whole body, regardless of where the person takes the hit, there's a big fat chance Conall might just kill Ricky with one blow. Issue is, he'd much rather incapacitate him. So, could he make a called shot to, lets say, Ricky's right leg? or his arm?
With the average of him causing like 12P, that should be enough to cripple beyond repair a certain limb.

Anyways; Conall's next course of action will depend on that.

@MJ - simply because Death Touch is a touch spell, it is possible to get some called shot advantages for HITTING your target - something like your maneuver to try to nail Ernst by jumping on his back and grabbing his head.

But in terms of DAMAGE - Direct Combat Spells always do generalized damage. That is the nature of the spell type; they target the totality of the subject's aura.
Called shots to wound are possible with Indirect Combat spells, which are basically just magical guns.

If you only want to hurt Ricky, you do have the option of casting at a lower force and/or withholding dice.

You move on him, he reacts by launching a deadly punch at you, but when you touch him (wherever) it stops his momentum like he hit a wall.
He staggers back into his chair, which breaks into pieces, leaving him on the floor gaping up at you like a fish in fear and shock and bewilderment.
He's hurt pretty bad, bleeding out his nose and from around his eyes.

Well, Ricky may be big and strong, but basically he's a tattoo artist who happens to powerlift for a hobby.

A 400 BP shadowrun PC is supposed to be able to take out most average people.

I wouldn't worry about being too overpowered just yet.

Dirty Dick's Fine Food and Spirits is listed, although the address is very vague - the map pinpoints it at the very edge of a heavily industrial section of the Seattle docks, but there is no actual street address.

No public listing for Humpty's Dump, although looking it up gets you AR pop-ups advertising its "cold drinks and hot women at this upscale gentleman's club" and says it is easy to find on Dock 32. Your map shows Dock 32, but it is pretty hard to see how it would be accessed - lots of semi-public service roads tangled with private roads.

If you really try to find either one, you should be able to - they are not hiding, just hard to reach for people that don't know the docks.

If you want to go to one, just say which and I will IC you getting there.
